WWE’s Tribute to the Troops tradition is set to continue.
Since 2003, WWE have put on a show in honour of those who serve in the US Armed Forces. The first seven events saw them fly to either Iraq or Afghanistan in order to provide entertainment to the troops, whereas the rest took place on American soil. Nevertheless, the company have delivered a card dedicated for the last 19 years.
Now, per an official announcement, we now know that Tribute to the Troops will return for its 20th iteration later this year, as WWE took to X to announce its plan to host the show on December 6 from Providence, Rhode Island.

Despite some years having more, the last three Tribute to the Troops shows have each featured three matches, with the most recent event closing with the team of Drew McIntyre, Sheamus and Ricochet coming out on top against Imperium. As of now, the lineup for this year’s card remains to be seen.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on this year’s Tribute to the Troops show as we hear more.
