Per the report, said appearance from CR7 would come with a “large appearance fee,” although it’s currently unclear as to what sort of capacity Ronaldo would be involved in.

Ronaldo, widely regarded as one of the greatest football players of all time, made his name playing for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, however he now finds himself playing in Saudi Arabia for Al Nassr.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reached out to WWE regarding the reports of Ronaldo possibly appearing on the show, however the company declined to comment.

Thus far, no matches have been set in stone for this year’s instalment of Crown Jewel, although John Cena’s involvement appears likely, with a promotional video for Riyadh Season 2023 hinting his participation in the event.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the prospect of Cristiano Ronaldo appearing at Crown Jewel as soon as we hear more.
