It looks like Bandido solidified his status as the hottest free agent in Pro Wrestling after his AEW Dynamite debut vs Chris Jericho last Wednesday.

Many fans had been calling for the former ROH World Champion, Bandido to get a chance on AEW TV for a long while. When Bandido got said chance vs Chris Jericho, he was able to majorly impress fans old and new with a spectacular performance in the main event for the ROH World Championship.

It was recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Bandido was offered an AEW Contract immediately after the match on Wednesday, but there has been no confirmation thus far to whether or not he signed it.

Now it appears that people in WWE were also very impressed by Bandido’s performance, as they now reportedly have interest in Bandido too.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, WWE were trying to get Bandido’s contact before his match on Dynamite last Wednesday was even over.

“Bandido, after Wednesday, was immediately offered a full-time contract…Now it just says here that he was offered a deal. Hopefully he’s signed because WWE was asking for his number before that match was even over,”

At this point, it would probably be very surprising to most people if he ended up anywhere other than AEW now. It seems WWE may have been late to the Bandido party on this occasion.
