Sami Callihan Confirms His TNA Wrestling Exit

Sami Callihan has left TNA Wrestling.

Earlier today, Tommy Dreamer revealed that he and TNA Wrestling had mutually agreed to part ways, and it now appears that Dreamer is not the only behind-the-scenes departure the company is facing.

In the wake of news of Dreamer’s exit, PWInsider Elite reported that Sami Callihan is also believed to have departed TNA Wrestling. The report notes that PWInsider has reached out to TNA Wrestling regarding their latest round of departures.

“The word making the rounds is that Sami Callihan, who had been working as a Producer for TNA, has also departed the company, PWInsiderElite.com has learned.”

Following PWInsider Elite’s report, Sami Callihan has since taken to X to confirm his TNA Wrestling departure, adding that he initially thought he was being called to be offered a new creative role with the company.

Callihan, a former Impact World Champion, retired from in-ring action in August 2025 but remained with TNA Wrestling as the company’s Director of Live Events.

In addition to both Tommy Dreamer and Sami Callihan, TNA Wrestling have also recently faced the departures of Tessa Blanchard, Myla Grace, and Steve Maclin, all of whom are reported to have had their release requests granted by the promotion.

Further exits may also be on the horizon, with WWE sources reportedly ecpecting yhe company to sign TNA World Champion Mike Santana when his contract expires this summer. You can read more about that here.
