AEW Podcast Network Sill In The Works

AEW Podcast Network

Tony Khan has revealed that the AEW Podcast Network is still on the way.

Earlier this year, All Elite Wrestling discontinued AEW Unrestricted, while AEW Heels was placed on hiatus, with the reasoning behind the decision remaining unclear. Against that backdrop, many fans have questioned the company’s future in the podcast and digital content space.

Despite those changes, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan revealed during the AEW Redemption post-show media scrum that the planned AEW Podcast Network is still in development.

“We’ve been working on it. We’re still planning the AEW podcast network with our friends, and is coming. So that’s been in the works for quite a while, and it’s still in the works. It’s gonna be very good. I’m looking forward to the AEW podcast network as we’ve been planning for a while. That’s gonna be excellent.”

While Khan did not provide a specific timeline, the launch of an official AEW Podcast Network would give the promotion a dedicated platform for talent interviews and company-focused content.

Khan’s comments come at a time of significant change within the wrestling media landscape. WWE recently acquired the SiriusXM channel that previously hosted Busted Open Radio, rebranding it as WWE Radio with a greater focus on the company’s own programming. The move was followed by Thunder Rosa announcing her departure from Busted Open after four years. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on all things AEW, including the development of its future podcast plans, as soon as we hear more.
