AEW’s Mick Foley Takes On The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
Mick Foley has added his name to the list of wrestlers doing the Ice Bucket Challenge.
The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has been getting a lot of attention and buzz recently, due to the unfortunate diagnosis of former AEW name Tanea Brooks, aka Rebel. Since it came to light that she was suffering with the condition, many from the wrestling space have come out in support of her, with multiple stars taking part in the challenge to help raise awareness. Just yesterday, Harley Cameron did the trend, later followed then Jurassic Express and Anna Jay. Now, a hardcore legend has joined in.
On Instagram, Mick Foley took on the ice bucket challenge while sat alongside Rebel herself.
As for his nominations made to continue the challenge, he first mentioned Kevin Owens, who showed love to Rebel during SummerSlam recently, as you can read here. Then, he challenged Kevin Nash. Finally, Mick summoned some dramatic music before name-dropping The Rock.
The Ice Bucket Challenge will continue on, but that’s not the only support going out to Rebel and ALS foundations. AEW will host a “Rebel Heart” edition of Dynamite on September 9th, where the company will make a donation to multiple ALS charities. Rebel herself has also confirmed she’ll be in attendance for the show. You can read more about the upcoming TV special here.
