Rey Fenix Reveals His Two Dream Matches For AAA Worlds Collide In September

On September 26, AAA will present Worlds Collide from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, and the show could feature some of WWE’s biggest stars. With the event taking place in his hometown, CM Punk has already registered his interest in appearing for AAA, while a segment from this week’s RAW strongly hinted that Roman Reigns could be in line for a trip to the Mexican promotion, with reports suggesting “The Tribal Chief” could be set for Worlds Collide. With that in mind, Rey Fenix has now revealed two matches he wants to see at the show.

On Instagram, Rey Fenix teased two dream matches he would like to see at AAA Worlds Collide in September: himself vs. CM Punk, and Penta vs. Roman Reigns. The 35-year-old even went as far as to say he will riot if these matches do not happen.

Having been acquired by WWE in 2025, AAA has been considered to be among the best products under the company’s banner so far this year. Presenting regular shows on YouTube and attracting millions of viewers, the promotion has provided some of the best matches all year, while its storyline between the two iterations of El Grande Americano captured fans’ attention across the entire wrestling world.

For now, it remains to be seen whether Roman Reigns or CM Punk will appear at AAA Worlds Collide, as no official matches or segments for them have been announced. That said, the matches Fenix has asked for would be first-time encounters, and they’d certainly add more interest and excitement to the upcoming show.

Off the back of Summerslam this past weekend and with no official PLEs taking place in the month of September , it seems WWE are pushing hard to make the Worlds Collide event must-see on September 26.
