This past Saturday saw the first premium live event of the Triple H era, as WWE presented SummerSlam from the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The show opened with Bianca Belair successfully defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch in a terrific match, although it unfortunately appears as though Big Time Becks suffered an injury during the early stages of the bout.

The report comes courtesy of Fightful Select, who note that Lynch suffered a separated shoulder early into the match and worked through the pain to finish it.

Fightful then note that the next steps following the injury are unknown, although they can confirm that creative has changed to a degree.

Whilst a timetable for an in-ring return is currently unknown, Fightful Select stated that when asking about a potential time frame they were told the potential for the injury necessitating surgery was 50/50.

As always, we wish Becky Lynch the best in her recovery, and look forward to seeing her back in the ring when the time is right.
