Bray Wyatt has been physically absent from the last few weeks of WWE television, with concern for his status with the company growing after he missed an MSG live event on March 12th. Throughout the day, rumours have begun to emerge that Wyatt had potentially walked out on the company, although a new report from Fightful Select is now indicating that this isn’t the case, with WWE sources denying these claims.

Per the latest report from Fightful Select, Wyatt is currently sidelined with an unspecified “physical issue”, with no current timetable for a return.

“WWE sources familiar with the situation who have worked with Wyat claim to Fightful that Bray Wyatt is currently sidelined with a “physical issue,” and they’re not sure on a return time as of now. There had been rumors that Wyatt had walked out due to creative issues, but thus far we haven’t gained any information that would confirm that, and haven’t been told that from anyone in the company thus far.”

Wyatt had been scheduled to feature on a number of episodes of Smackdown as well as several live events, however, the company claimed he was pulled from these appearances due to the aforementioned “physical issue”. Despite this, Wyatt’s feud with Bobby Lashley has continued to progress on TV via vignettes and segments involving Uncle Howdy.

As noted by Fightful, materials for Wyatt and Uncle Howdy are often sent to the site of Smackdown, although for the past two episodes of Smackdown, this hasn’t been the case. The report also noted that Wyatt hasn’t been factored into creative plans for those shows, and is also not scheduled for Raw.

According to the report, Lashley wasn’t scheduled for tonight’s episode of Raw as of one point this weekend, and thus its unclear as to when his creative direction heading into WrestleMania will become clear once again.

Fightful closed their report by noting that they’ll continue to reach out for further information throughout the day, including the rumours of creative disagreements. As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates as soon as we hear more.

In recent update according to Fightful Selects report, WWE creative were told that Bray was out due to illness. He hasn’t been at recent WWE live events or television. He also wasn’t on the internal MSG rundown as of Friday.
