Bryan Danielson is on the road to recovery.
On June 25th at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Bryan Danielson shockingly defeated Kazuchika Okada by submission at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, although he didn’t come away unscathed, as he unfortunately broke his arm during the bout.
Ahead of Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, AEW’s Bryan Danielson took to Twitter to provide a brief update on his broken arm.
Also, to give everyone an update before #AEWDynamite, I got surgery on my arm about two weeks ago, where they put in a steel rod and 9 screws. Surgery went well and I’m on the road to recovery. Thank you all for the support, and check out #BloodAndGuts tonight! pic.twitter.com/6lKHsZk65f

Tonight, his teammates in the Blackpool Combat Club (alongside Konosuke Takeshita & PAC) are facing the Golden Elite in AEW’s yearly Blood & Guts match. Danielson was initially planned for the bout prior to sustaining the aforementioned injury, leading to plans changing and thus PAC’s involvement.
