One of the main attractions at tonight’s ‘Hell In A Cell’ show is the cell match between Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. It’s the third instalment in the series between the two with Rhodes having picked up wins at both WrestleMania and WrestleMania Backlash.

The concern comes from a live event which happened on Saturday night. Rollins and Rhodes were scheduled to compete but it was announced that ‘The American Nightmare’ had been attacked by his opponent before the match and Drew McIntyre took his place. Cody did appear after the match to chase Rollins around the ringside area.

Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio has given an update on the situation.

“Cody was injured lifting weights. From what I gather, it’s a pretty serious injury. My impression is that he is working the match tonight with the injury and I guess will get it taken care of later. The injury is legit. Everything that I heard was that he was working tonight. The doctors may say you can’t, I don’t know. It’s not an in-ring injury, it was a weightlifting injury.”
