We now have a rough estimate as to how long Drew McIntyre has left on his current WWE deal.

For over a year now, fans have speculated about the future of Drew McIntyre. In April 2023, it was revealed that the Scotsman’s WWE deal had entered its final 12 months, and, as we reached WrestleMania season with no clear resolution, many wondered just how close the expiry date truly is, and it seems we now have the answer as to how long is left on his current contract.

Per PWInsider, it’s believed that Drew McIntyre’s WWE deal is set to expire within a range of the next 5-6 weeks, freeing him up around late May or early June should be choose to enter free agency.

“One source in the company stated that McIntyre’s current deal expires in the “5-6 week” range, so there is obviously a pressure there to finally get new deal done if the company wishes for McIntyre to remain locked in and not land on the open market.”

McIntyre has been featured prominently on Monday Night RAW over the last few months and even won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 (albeit for a short time before being cashed-in on by Damian Priest), so it would be a surprise to see the former champion depart WWE when the time comes, but it’s certainly a possibility.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Drew McIntyre’s WWE status as soon as we hear more.
