Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan’s lack of direction in WWE is leading to frustration.

Despite currently holding the WWE Women’s World Championship and the AAA Mega Championship respectively, many fans have pointed to a lack of clear direction for Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio in the aftermath of WrestleMania 42, a sentiment that reportedly appears to be shared by some within WWE..

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, there is internal frustration within WWE regarding the lack of direction for the The Judgment Day pairing of Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio, with Morgan originally slated to continue her feud with Stephanie Vaquer prior to her injury.

“Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that there has been internal frustration with the lack of direction for Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan since WrestleMania. Original plans for Liv Morgan called for a continuation of the Stephanie Vaquer story. After Stephanie’s injury, there was little adjustment to keep Morgan a focal point of the show. There has been an effort to keep Dominik as an on-screen character even if there aren’t matches there, but his usage is expected to increase as the company heads towards promotion of AAA TripleMania.”

The report additionally notes that Liv Morgan is expected to be more active on WWE Raw regardless of Stephanie Vaquer’s status. The current WWE Women’s World Champion has yet to defend the title since defeating Vaquer to capture the gold at WrestleMania 42 in April.

With the Queen of the Ring tournament set to conclude at Night of Champions, perhaps Liv Morgan’s first challenger for the WWE Women’s World Championship will soon emerge.

Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio is set to take on Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, and Damian Priest in the opening round of the King of the Ring tournament, with Oba Femi awaiting the winner.

Night 1 of AAA’s TripleMania is set to take place in Las Vegas on September 11, with Night 2 scheduled for Arena CDMX in Mexico City on September 13. Following the widely praised mask vs. mask encounter between El Grande Americano and the now-unmasked Chad Gable, perhaps Americano could now move into contention for the AAA Mega Championship, potentially setting up a future clash with Dominik Mysterio.

On the topic of his current lack of direction, Dominik Mysterio recently claimed that he believes WWE doesn’t know what to do with him. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio as soon as we hear more.
