Jade Cargill has reflected on how her AEW stint prepared her for WWE.

In September, WWE officially announced their capture of AEW homegrown talent Jade Cargill. The 31-year-old came in off the back of her TBS Title run and her signing sparked a lot of buzz. However, it was only last weekend that she made her in-ring debut, putting in an impressive shift during the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

While speaking to Denise Salcedo, Cargill has discussed being in AEW before WWE, saying that Tony Khan’s company gave her the best possible start.

“I felt like I would have never got a better start other than AEW. That’s me being very honest. The veterans in the locker room prepared me for the grander stage at WWE. I got a great experience there, being thrown into the water and being able to swim and survive, it’s prepared me for the big stage that WWE has, the locker room, the phenomenal staff that WWE has. They have a front office like no other. I’m just ecstatic to be here,”

As mentioned, Cargill made her in-ring debut this past Saturday at the Royal Rumble, but seeds are already planted for the future. In particular, fans were captured by the stand off had between Jade and Bianca Belair, as WWE could be setting up a future feud for later down the line.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Jade Cargill post-her Rumble debut as we hear more.
