Ric Flair reveals why he wasn’t invited to WrestleMania 42 by WWE.

Ahead of her WWE Women’s Championship defence against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41, Tiffany Stratton made note of Charlotte’s three divorces on WWE television. In response, Charlotte claimed that Ludwig Kaiser had been in her DMs, which prompted Kaiser to request on social media that Flair not flatter herself. The comment appears to have not sat well with ‘The Nature Boy’.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Ric Flair revealed that he threatened Ludwig Kaiser over the phone regarding his comments about his daughter and, as a result, was not invited to WrestleMania 42.

“I didn’t get invited to WrestleMania this year. I threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton’s [boyfriend] last year. I wasn’t allowed to go. A 24-year-old kid being threatened by a 76-year-old man, and I can’t go to WrestleMania. Are you kidding me? That English kid. He’s gonna go as far in wrestling as a gnat. He’ll be a fly on the wall in a year. They had that thing where Tiffany made a smart remark about Ashley’s divorces, which we both know she is not smart enough to have written. Somebody gave her the script. And then he implied, I’m just going based on social media once again which is a lot, that he was implying that he wouldn’t bum one off Ashley, and I went, ‘Okay, I need your number.’ Which I can get anybody’s number I want any minute of any day. I called him and said, ‘Hey, when I see you, I’m gonna beat the sh*t out of you.’ So he went like a little b*tch and told Hunter, and I wasn’t allowed to go. He’s gonna really go far in the business. A 76-year-old man tells a 24-year-old kid he’s gonna kick his ass, and where is he now? Is he even on the roster? Little punk.”

Charlotte Flair teamed with Alexa Bliss during Night One of WrestleMania 42 on April 18, with the pair unsuccessful in their attempt to recapture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in a four-way match that ultimately saw Brie Bella and a returning Paige leave with the gold.

Ludwig Kaiser, meanwhile, currently finds himself competing as El Grande Americano across both Monday Night RAW and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, with Kaiser set to take on ‘The Original’ El Grande Americano in a Mask vs. Mask match at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30.

Elsewhere during the interview, Ric Flair revealed that he would not be surprised to see Tony Khan purchase WWE one day. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Ric Flair not being invited to WrestleMania 42 as soon as we hear more.
