On February 18th, Sami Zayn is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Elimination Chamber event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This follows Zayn finally turning on ‘The Tribal Chief’ at this past January’s Royal Rumble, a turn that had the WWE Universe on the edges of their seats.

With Zayn now back on the babyface side of things, many fans have been questioning whether we can expect to see the return of his original “Worlds Apart” theme. The former ‘Honorary Uce’ previously stated that he feels as though a return for the theme would be a regression of his character, however during a recent appearance on The Sick Podcast, Zayn revealed that he believes this year’s Elimination Chamber may be the perfect time for it to make a comeback.

Zayn also noted that a new theme song altogether could be on the cards, however as a one-off, “Worlds Apart” making a comeback would likely be a welcome surprise in the eyes of the WWE Universe.

“I mean, if it were going to come back, I feel like that would be the time in place to do it. I’ve said this in other interviews. I feel like it would kind of be taking a step backward. I think maybe a new song is in the cards, but I feel like that song, even though people have a real fondness for it, it seems. From a character’s perspective, it just feels like taking a step backward. At the same time, doing it for like a one-night thing in Montreal might be cool. I don’t know,”

So far, three other matches have been announced for next Saturday’s Elimination Chamber premium live event. The men’s Chamber match is set to feature Austin Theory, Seth Rollins, Montez Ford, Bronson Reed, Damian Priest, and Johnny Gargano, and will be for the United States Championship.

On the women’s side of things, Asuka, Liv Morgan, Nikki Cross, Raquel Rodriguez, Natalya, and Carmella will be competing for the chance to face Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39.
