Sheamus Hits Free Agency, Welcomes “All Challengers”

The wrestler formerly known as Sheamus has officially entered free agency, and he’s ready for a fight.
Within the free agent market are several individuals who many wish to get a “second run” to showcase what they can do, and the man now known as S. Farrelly is one of them. He was known as Sheamus in WWE, gaining a reputation for putting on incredibly strong in-ring performances, particularly over the last several years of his career. With his release from the company earlier this year and his 90-day non-compete clause now up, he’s ready to get going in the ring again.
To that end, he posted on his X account that he’s ready to fight anyone.
Eagle-eyed fans will recognise that first pose as something he did as Sheamus when he teamed with Claudio Castagnoli as part of “The Bar” in WWE. The Swiss star is perhaps Farrelly’s biggest AEW connection, with many fans wondering if he could join the company in the near future and reconnect with his former tag team partner in one way or another.
Plus, reports suggest that it isn’t just his fans pushing for the former Sheamus to join AEW, as it’s believed many within the promotion are asking for Farrelly to be brought in. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future of S. Farrelly as soon as we hear more.
