The Undertaker has listed two top WWE stars that he would want to work with if he was still physically able.
It goes without saying that The Undertaker is one of WWE’s greatest ever names, having competed in the squared circle for over thirty years. He transcended multiple generations but hasn’t been seen since the infamous Boneyard cinematic match at WrestleMania 36, which now appears to be the final outing of The Deadman.
As the old saying goes, we should ‘never say never’ in regards to another match being added to the incredible career of The Undertaker, however, it’s clear that the now 58-year-old isn’t in the best condition to compete in the present day and, in a new interview with The Independent, Undertaker was asked to name people that he would’ve liked to step in the ring with if he was still active and able to perform at a high level today.
Despite battling him at ‘Mania 33, ‘Taker’s first answer was Roman Reigns, due to how much The Tribal Chief has grown in the six years since their first encounter.
“I would love to be healthy enough to have a match now with Roman Reigns. When we worked at [WrestleMania 33], I was on my last legs. And he wasn’t he wasn’t nearly the performer that he is now.”-The Undertaker
Also, The Phenom highlighted Seth Rollins as a potential current-day opponent due to their clash of styles and personality.
“And then another guy that I would love to have worked with would be Seth Rollins. He’s just an incredible in-ring talent. And now he’s got this really flamboyant character, which would have been a really interesting contrast between the doom and gloom of The Undertaker and his over-the-top character.”-The Undertaker
As mentioned, Undertaker’s ventures into the squared circle seem to be behind him, however, he has had his fair share of matches against both Reigns and Rollins when the pair were still part of The Shield.
As for what’s next for Mark Calaway, UK dates for his 1deadman Show were recently announced, with tickets available on general sale on June 2nd at 10 a.m. BST via AEGpresents.co.uk.
