One of the biggest free agents in women’s wrestling is garnering major interest from one of the top promotions in the world
Fightful Select has provided an update on Toni Storm’s status:
“Fightful has learned from AEW talent that there is significant interest in Toni Storm joining the company, to the point that several talent outright expects her to land with the company sooner than later. There were numerous wrestlers in the company pushing for her to be brought in.”

Toni Storm’s last match was against Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair in a losing effort on the Christmas Eve episode of Smackdown. She eventually requested her release from WWE shortly after and WWE granted it.
If Toni Storm were to join AEW this would be a massive boost not just to the AEW Women’s division but to their AEW roster. Toni Storm would also be a perfect addition the Owen Cup Foundation Tournament that’s scheduled to take place.
This news comes on heels of AEW announcing a new addition to the AEW roster that AEW will sign on the March 30th episode of AEW Dynamite.
