Will Ospreay worked hard to pay tribute to PAC on last night’s Dynamite.

Just days after the sudden passing of Benjamin “PAC” Satterley, All Elite Wrestling dedicated the entirety of last night’s show to their fallen friend. Throughout the night, many wrestlers did references to PAC’s moveset and past matches from around the world. When Will Ospreay and Ricochet fought, you could tell emotions were running high before their contest began. Then, at the end, Ospreay did the unthinkable and hit the Black Arrow to get the win.

On his official X feed, he noted what it took for him to nail the move.

The eruption from the audience spoke to how awesome the tribute was, as did the reaction from Ospreay himself, who cried after hitting the Black Arrow so perfectly and had to be consoled by the other members of the United Empire afterward.

Later on, Ospreay posted on his Instagram, thanking fans for the outpouring of love over hitting the move.

As noted by Maya World on her X account, there was one more group encouraging Will Ospreay during the Black Arrow attempt, as talent gathered round to will him on.

That highlights the unity that the All Elite Wrestling roster had during the entire night, and many have hailed it as one of the greatest nights of wrestling ever witnessed, because everything was so on point, so raw emotionally, and an unyielding tribute to a dear friend and wrestler.

During the show, many wrestlers wore a “Long Live The Bastard” tribute shirt. This, along with another design, are available to buy on Shop AEW with all proceeds going to Benjamin Satterley’s family. Please find our article on that here.

Everyone at WrestlePurists continues to send their condolences to Satterley’s family, friends, and fans across the world.
