Will Ospreay Reaffirms Tony Khan’s Role In 2025 Neck Surgery

Will Ospreay 2

Will Ospreay recalls Tony Khan helping him through his neck surgery.

As of writing, Will Ospreay is less than two weeks away from a meeting with destiny, potentially, as he’ll main event All In: London at Wembley Stadium and attempt to defeat Kenny Omega for the AEW Men’s World Title. However, around this time last year, Ospreay’s fate was far from certain, as he had to have serious neck surgery that kept him out of action until his return in March of 2026. Now, while taking a look back at his recovery, Ospreay touched on how Tony Khan helped him during the process.

As part of a special Journey To All in: London series for Ospreay, the Brit noted that Khan paid for his entire procedure.

“Tony’s paid for the entire thing, which is crazy. I saw that bill. Oh my God, man. It costs more than my house in England. If you pay for that for my health… I’ll be a little soldier for him for the rest of my life.”

Ospreay has been a key part of All Elite Wrestling since his arrival in 2024, with many immediately expecting him to win the AEW World Championship at Wembley Stadium sooner rather than later. With his big opportunity coming up, the series will apparently go for seven episodes, which means it’ll continue on long after he does, or doesn’t, win the belt.

Plus, Ospreay isn’t the only one with kind words for Tony Khan of late, as he was also praised by fellow AEW wrestler Adam Copeland yesterday, when “The Rated R Superstar” noted just how kind his boss was. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Will Ospreay as soon as we hear more.
