WWE Draft Reportedly No Longer Internally Scheduled For After Clash At The Castle

With Clash at the Castle rapidly approaching, many WWE fans expected to see the announcement of a Draft in order to allow Head of Creative Triple H to shake up the Raw and Smackdown rosters, although according to a new report from Fightful Select, this no longer appears to be the plan.

Fightful Select are reporting that according to a WWE source, Raw talent are no longer scheduled to appear on the Smackdown following Clash at the Castle, the show previously thought be the night were a Draft was set to take place. The report then notes that many stars had been told that the Draft was likely taking place that week, although this no longer seems to be the case.

Fightful Select then provide an update on a possible date for an upcoming Draft, with sources close to the USA Network believing that it may not be until April of next year.

“USA Network sources have told talent that the Draft isn’t happening in the immediate future, have outright stated to that after WrestleMania is a likelier landing spot.”

As of writing, no official confirmation has been provided regarding a potential date for a future Draft, and in an update later added to Fightful Select’s report, it was learned that the USA Network are yet to officially list a date for the event altogether.
